where are you doing the slippers from. Every place I have found that makes them wants a minimum order of 300+ pairs to customize. That is insane. I tried hotel suppliers who might have the kind you get at a hotel and they have huge minimum orders also.

Me too -- my preference is the hotel style.

OK--so we have a few in for the bulk order....any other takers??? My only question is this...How are we going to do this???

I live in upstate NY (Rockland County), and I'm sure there are others that live elsewhere, also.....can we have a bulk order shipped to different places? Or would we have to set up a rendevous point at someone's house? Maybe send checks to one person who would then cash them when the order is confirmed? No, that doesn't make sense....cause then people could potentially get stiffed...hmmm..

Could we all send in money seperately to the company but have them consider it a bulk order?

I'm not sure....too tired to think right now, let us know if anyone else has any ideas.

I don't mind taking a trip out to the island to pick up shoes somewhere....we're still meeting with vendors anyway...so many trips to come. We'll figure something out!!!

all this talk about slippers makes me think i need more

kim...i'm going back to the flea market!!!!!!! if anyone wants to go, we got really pretty ones there for about 1.50 each!

Well, realistically, none of us is under a huge time constraint, so if one person places the order (Bulk often requires a single ship to address) then there is time to cheaply ship USPS to the rest. Shipping (these are light) will not be bad.

I went a few weeks ago and got the chinese ones but the sparkly kind. I only paid about $1 each b/c I was buying so many!!! I will post pics if anyone wants to see!

This is such a great idea. I have never heard of this or seen it before. I just called my mom and said we have to do this... You ladies ar the best!

I'm bumping this to follow up and see if anyone had some good luck with this. I wanna try and go to the Attias Flee Market and check it out. Any other good sites. The ones I found were $4.99 each.....and I know we can do better than that!
