girls familiar with Roslyn please help.... w/poll

OK, So I am trying to decide where to take my e-pics.. (yes, it's 3 months before my wedding)

Here are the choices that my photographer gave us....

- Roslyn Duck Pond (heard there were a lot of dropping everywhere)

-Roslyn Villiage (don't know anything about it)

-Bar Beach (don't know anything about it- Is it an actual beach?)

Bar Beach is a beach on the Sound...so the sand has a lot of rocks in it....and there is not much else there that is too scenic....a playground, large parking lot, etc...Gorgeous sunsets though..if you are shooting in the evening

I would say your best bet is the Duck Pond for a variety of pics...the Village is tiny but quaint. Cute shops, but there isn't really any green space that I am aware of that might be good for pics.

thanks for the info... How would I get to Bar Beach? I'd like to go see how rocky it is. I don't live far from roslyn at all but I just moved out here.

I agree the Duck Pond is the best place for pictures.
To get to Bar Beach---Old Northern Blvd. through Roslyn Village---if you are coming for Roslyn Road , at the clock tower go right (Turns into Shore Rd I believe is the name)
You will see Bar Beach on your right----technically I believe that might be considered Port Washington.

I had mine at the duck pond in the fall and they came out really great...i was very pleased. who is your photographer? B M atthews?

I have e-shoot photos from roslyn duck pond in my album. Keep in mind, that I did mine in January so it would have more flowers and trees now. Roslyn duck pond definitely seems to be the best choice, but there is a lot of poop....but if you're careful you have nothing to worry about.
