Hi there. A few girls in my BP and myself want to go away for a long weekend. Any suggestions? It could be flying or driving. But we don't want it to be too too far. We were thinking of the Bahamas but it's kinda pricey..... Thanks!

What about Bermuda, isn't that a little closer? I love Myrtle Beach, Virginia Beach, Ocean City. I'm assuming you want sun?? Miami Beach? Florida Keys? Just a few suggestions! I'm freezing here, this is keeping me warm!

What about New Orleans (fun party town), inner Harbor in Baltimore (supposed to be really nice), Charleston (lovely city), Boston
Sounds like it will be a fun trip where ever you go:)

Or the Hamptons or the North Fork - you could do a day of wine tasting and then a day at the spa or the beach and get hotel rooms at night.

These have been great. We are looking for a place to do fun stuff during the day and go out and party at night. New Orleans might be a good place even though I've been there before. Thanks again guys!

Re: Girl's getaway????
Beware Mardi Gras - it should be coming up at the end of this month. I was in New Orleans visiting a relative once during Mardi Gras, and it was totally gross. Imagine drunken fraternity boys who can neither a) talk to women nor b) hold their liquor. And the whole town smelled like stale beer!! Anyway, I recommend going there around Mardi Gras but not during.
