girls getting married at hall.....

are you doing limos or not?

i'm so freakin torn. i know it's absolutely not necessary. i don't need pictures or anything with them, but i'm thinking about 1 for the bridal party (i have 11 people total)

what's a girl to do?

i am getting married at the hall. We are getting 2 limos.. one to bring FH and his guys there and one to bring me and the girls.. then on the way home we have a specialty car getting us.

But.. on the other end I have been in wedding parties and the Bride and Groom didnt get limos and got married at the RH..

so i guess its really up to you.

I am getting married at The Fox Hollow, and having all my girls meet at my mothers house. I am going to get two basic lincoln stretch limo's for just a drop off. Bc call my men FH and groosman are staying at the Fox Hollow Inn.

I have friend getting married at her hall and she is not using a limo the girls will all get dressed at the RH with her. But if you do get one it should not cost a lot at all you only need to pick u up and drop you at the hall!!

I am going to try to NOT have to get limos... im also getting married at the RH. My mom is staying in a hotel (she lives OOT) so we are going to get reay there. so i guess we may get one for me(lol) and the bm. unless he wants one too... but im still going to try to avoid it if i can!

we battled with this for a while, but everyone told me I had to get one for bridal party so we did. We got a 22 pass from Camelot and we didn't spend much at all. FM me if you want more info.

I wasn't going to, but we ended up getting one. It just makes it easier because it can pick the boys up from where they are getting ready and then take them to the hotel where all the girls will be. Then we can all go to the ceremony together.

not getting limos. not only do I live like 5 mins away from the hall but also i'll be staying at a hotel close by. my salon is also gonna be like less than 10 mins away and I want to dress at the RH.
FH will prob dress at home and then we will meet at the RH.
so I really dont see any point for us to have a limo.

but FH is getting prob a Dodge Viper to drive around (we decided to have one thing to splurge on and this is what we picked), so I think this is enough

ETA: we dont have a big BP. just me, MOH (if she comes to the wedding) and my mom. and then FH with my brother, dad and his BM

We aren't, but we are getting ready at the hotel next door. If you are getting ready a little further away, it may be something to look into. I was in a wedding in feb where we got ready at the huntington hilton for a ceremony at the fox hollow, and we had to scramble to figure out how we were going to get to the hall, whose car was cleanest, woulfld fit the dresses, etc

we havent booked limos yet but we need one to pick me and the girls up at my house to take us to hempstead castle for pre ceremony shoot and another to pick fh and the boys from his moms.
then everyone will get into one limo to take us to our rh.

I am also doing the 2 basic limos- for the bridal party/mom and dad and for the boys. Just to get to the place so everyone can drink and not be stressed!!

we did, (you already know this). I was torn for a long time about it and really didnt want to get them but i decided to so that everyone gets where they need to be on time. We got a rolls royce for my mom, dad and me. and 14 pass limo for everyone else (bridal party and his parents and him)
For the end of the night, we have a 14 pass for us and the bridal party to get back to the hotel.

i plan on getting ready at the hall along with FH and the whole party so it's throwing me off. me & FH live together so it'll just pick everyone up from our place??

what about the next day though...our cars will be at our place. not at the hotel so........

how about driving the cars the night before the wedding to the hotel and then someone coming along to take u back
my cousin did that, worked out great

omg i can't figure this out either....

we are getting hair/makeup at the hotel and i would like to get dressed in the bridal suite at the RH

problem is...i dont know if we can get in early enough to get dressed at the RH so then i would need limos from the hotel to the RH bc i am not going in a car all dressed in my gown

this could be a huge cost savings if we skip limos but i can't figure out the logistics!

I didnt... we went from the hotel to the hall and back again in a cab (van that held 14 pax).... so much cheaper

well we are taking pictures before the ceremony. we are arriving 3 hours early so what we did was i got a bus to take the entire BP to the hall and a no frills 6 pass limo for me and my parents to get to the hall.

they only charged me as a pick up drop off (think airport ride) so i got all that for 750

Oooo another tip.... If you do get a limo and just want to get one. You can have them pick you up and drop you and your girls off at the RH. And then he can go back and get the boys from where they are at(I am sure it has to be withen reason) But somethng to look into. My girlfriend just did this.
