Girls getting married at RH

Have you thought about ceremony music?

This dawned on me on Monday that I might need to pick some LOL

At my FBIL's wedding they had some non-traditional music and I was wondering what the heck I would pick.

BP walking down: Love theme from St Elmos Fire
Me walking down: Love theme from Cousins
FH an I walking back up: Cousins again but a diff part of the song

I am simple just having a violin/cello duo and bp walking to cannon d and I am walking into hear comes the bride.

I'm choosing very classical music while guests are seated and then as the bridal party walks out I want Pachebel's Canon in D...and then for me Here comes the bride.

I think while guests are seated some instrumental Sinatra.

Then when FH walks his Mom and Grandma down I am going to let him decide.

For my MOH and Best Man I haven't decided yet.

I am walking down to an instrumental version of Imagine.

Then after we are married I think I am going to do signed, sealed, deivered.

BP and I are walking into an instrumental version of Dont Stop believin (its long and there is a really beautiful violin piece at the end - thats where I come out)

Bridal party is walking down to 'Only Time' by Enya, and I'll be walking down to 'Canon in D.' I know it's traditional, but it's the song I imagined to walk down forever to. Recessional (walking out) song will be 'Seasons of Love' from the Broadway show Rent...I love Broadway songs!

don't feel terrible . . no one knows until they do it or see it. .

I think it depends on the following

are you groomsmen walking in or already standing there? are your parents walking down?

you might want songs for the following

1. guest being seated
2. parents/family walking down aisly
3 bridal party
4. YOU
5. recessional (people leaving)

your music person should talk you through some of this though. like I am only doing

song for bridal party.
song for me
recessional song.

then I said play whatever the rest of the time!!

I have no idea what we'll play for the recessional but the BP will come in to 'Here Comes the Sun' by the Beatles and I'll come down to 'Dearly Beloved' which is a song from Kingdom Hearts II (a videogame...lol)

Hey, Sam! Our DJ did our ceremony music and told us how many songs we needed to choose. I walked down the aisle to 'Kissing You' from the Romeo and Juliet movie. We had this play for the BP as well because I wanted more of the song to play. Then, we walked back to 'All You Need Is Love' by The Beatles.
