My Rh told me that girls don't usually have a rehearsal before the day of the wedding. He said that the morning of we just do a quick rehearsal. I am prob still going to do a rehearsal dinner to give out the gifts and show everyone who they will be paired up with. Are you girls having a rehearsal? What exactly are you doing?

Re: girls getting married at RH
I actually never discussed that with my RH. Good question! I'm going to see if we could do it the night before, bc I don't want to feel rushed the day of. And as for a dinner, I def want to do something!

Re: girls getting married at RH
they told us the day of in the morning/ early afternoon as well...unless you dont want to see your FH before the wedding then they can do it the day before in the early morning ... but unfortunately FH has seen my dress already and we planned on doing photos before.

My hall has said that if there's nothing going on the day before we can have a rehearsal there...but I won't know until very close to the wedding. If we can't rehearse there, my DOC will stage a rehearsal just before the RD.
HTH!

Re: girls getting married at RH
my hall also said we do it the day of before the ceremony. FH and I are seeing each other anyways to take pics before so maybe after the pics are done we can run through the line-up. We have a big bridal party but it shouldnt' be too bad if everyone is there already for pics.
Since everyone is from OOT in the BP, the night before I'll give out their gifts at the hotel and maybe we can all order pizza or something and have a drink at the hotel bar. If i'm freaking, we can maybe run through the line up then. We arent have a traditional rehearsal dinner as far as I know...my parents are springing on a brunch for all the OOT but unless FIL's wanna pay for a RD then pizza and drinks at the hotel it is!! lol

I am going to see if we can do it the night before and have the rehearsal dinner at the RH. I don't think a wed. night rehearsal dinner should be too hard to accommodate but I guess that is something I will have to discuss with the RH a little down the road.

Re: girls getting married at RH
We did our rehearsal the night before about 45 minutes before our rehearsal dinner. We had our RD at the OOT hotel and they set up one section of the ballroom we were in for our dinner to look like the aisle and first few rows. Our DOC came to the hotel and everyone who was walking down the aisle was told to come an hour early to the RD. My DOC coordinated the rehearsal for us, and everyone got to practice walking down the aisle and sitting in their spots. It was great having the practice for our 3 1/2 y/o RB -- he did such a great job carrying the pillow the next day!
Since we ran through it a few times everyone felt really comfortable on our wedding day. It was also great that everyone got to meet our DOC the night before and got very comfortable with her in a no-pressure atmosphere! Ryan (from Above & Beyond Events) was amazing and I was so glad we could arrange for that!
There was no need to rehearse at the actual RH since the set-up was the same as at the hotel the night before.

We are having a rehearsal that day, but we are still going to have a 'rehearsal dinner' so we can give out the BM and GM presents and just celebrate.

Hahahaha I am a little nervous about that partying lmao my hubby has family members that like to party a lot. In the summer at my brother in laws 21st bday they were soo drunk they were singing kareokee and pretending they were paparazzi screaming for the singer. I was like *** is going on lol and they partied until 6:30am. My wedding is going to be hopping
