Girls getting married at the RH

After the ceremony are you lining up to say hello to everyone like you would at a church?

no I think we'll just make our rounds at ch; we r going to do photos before so we can enjoy our ch

i hadn't thought about it that much, but i was just in my friends wedding this past weekend and she got married at the RH. After the ceremony she went off to take more family pictures and then came out and mingled during the CH. I think it worked out nicely and hopefully I will do the same thing. So no, I probably won't line up after the ceremony and just come out during the CH to see everyone!

no receiving line for us

we probably will take a few pictures after the ceremony - i want pics of FH and I alone in the ceremony room AND pics of us alone in the reception room....

our CH is 1 1/2 hours so hopefully we can enjoy almost a full hour of it and mingle with everyone! at least that is the plan so far!

nope-- we didn't do a receiving line at all. honestly, your hall probably woulnd't let you. because if you are having ceremony at the RH and then the CH follows afterwards--it would mean that ppl have to wait in line to get thru to greet you and THEN go up to the CH. the hall may not want you congesting the area and you'd also cause some of your guests to miss 10-15 min. of the CH waiting to greet you--and that's the best part !

We will be taking pics during the CH so I am not sure if we will be able to get in there to mingle.

BUT my reverend told us not to greet everyone at the end of the ceremony because it may take time out of us taking pictures. He said my FH and I should go together to be alone for a little bit before taking pictures.

i just did not know if it would be rude to just leave and not say hello after the ceremony.

Yeah we are not going to either. I want to just share a moment alone with FH right after, to take it all in. We will have time to mingle later hehehehe

We arent.

We are going back to the BS for like 15 mins to eat something quickly and the guests will go to the CH.

Then we will go to the CH to greet everyone so we have more time at the reception.

I doubt it. We're probably going to hide in the bridal suit for a little bit and then mingle at the CH..

I dont think its rude. Usuallu when its at a church- you have some time before the reception so you hang around.

If you greet them after the ceremony- it will cut into the CH and no one wants to miss that.

I agree with the few mins alone thing. It will probably be the one few mins you get alone together all day!

nope. straight to photos. Cocktail hour is 90 minutes, so we'll pop in toward the end.
