Hi girls are you guys having anything for your guests to throw at you when you and your DH walk down the aisle after the ceremony? Like rose petals, bubbles, etc...do we need to have anything? I mean its not the same as a church ceremony?

I think I'm going to give my two cousins (who are 15 and 23) bubbles to blow. That way we'll have just a little something but it won't be much. I think rice or petals or anything will be silly since we're not going very far, just back up the aisle, but with a few designated bubble blowers, it could just look pretty. I think...

ok thanks girls, I just kept reading about a lot of the girls making there petal cones and I didnt even think about it for mine. Im not gonna have anything either...no need for the extra cost

Ooh ooh ooh!!! I think bubbles would be an awesome idea now!!! My ceremony is indoors, but the CH is directly outside, so it would make perfect sense for them to start blowing bubbles at us as we walk outside!!!

We had bubbles Is it necessary? Not really...just a fun touch and something for guests to do during the recessional

We are getting married on the beach so we will not be having the guests throw anything because of the litter factor and no bubles because we will be outside and they will get lost in the breeze...lol

I got sparklers (the ceremony is outside in the gazebo) so that the guests can light them on the way back down the asile for us
