I just wrote you on the Cake thread. We just spoke with our BM at the RH and he said we can work out a rehearsal if we want, but it would need to be a few days ahead. Our wedding is a Sunday, so obviously Saturday they have weddings/parties going on.
I am fine with either not having a formal rehearsal or doing it briefly inside before we go out for the ceremony itself.
As for the dinner, we are doing a 'welcome dinner' the evening before our wedding for OOT guests, close friends/family, and the BP.

Re: Girls getting married at the RH
I am having a RD. I don't know if we will get to do an actual rehearsal though, it depends if they have parties going on or not. I guess its more that I def want to have a dinner with my BP and close family to thank everyone and give out the BP gifts, etc.

this! and because there will be a lot of out of town guests...and we're a little out east so a lot of people will be staying there the night before.

Re: Girls getting married at the RH
I am having a RD basically because I feel it will be the one time to really relax and enjoy the special time with my close family and friends and out of town guests. I don't think we will have an actual rehearsal, probably just a quick run down before everyone walks down the aisle.

Me too!
Definitely doing it. I think it would be very helpful to the BP so if they have any questions or are unsure of what they need to do. There are a few people in my BP that are super nervous and shy so I would want the RD to be a relaxing moment for us. I don't care if we have to practice in a parking lot I would feel more comfortable doing a run through.

Re: Girls getting married at the RH
We are having a RD but not really the rehearsal part, don't really feel there is a need for it. At the RD we tell them who is paired with who but we aren't having a religious ceremony so that another reason we don't feel it s important but its gonna be at a nearby restaurant in Brooklyn not at the hall

Re: Girls getting married at the RH
I am having a RH dinner at the place we had our first date. We are not going to do a formal rehersal until the day of. We will tell the wedding party who they are matched up with though at the RH dinner.

Re: Girls getting married at the RH
I am getting married at an RH, we are not going to be having a resheral until like 10 mins before the ceremony which is fine because Verdis has parties going on the week of my wedding anyway . My wedding is a Saturday. My FMIL wants to do a dinner just the bridal party so that will be the night or so before. If we don't end up having on that is fine because i was hoping to give the gifts out the day of the wedding anyway. I just want my FMIL to get through planning my bridal shower.

I had no intention of doing one. I was actually excited to save the $ on that aspect. Now you guys are getting me nervous that I should LOL
We had thrown around the idea if we have any extra $ (ha yea right!) we might have a brunch/cocktails (think cheap!) the weekend before to tell people who they will be walking with and give out the gifts. Nothing crazy, some people are from out of town so it might be just the friends/locals.

Re: Girls getting married at the RH
I'm not sure yet. I do want to do the RD, but that will depend on cost. I was a BM for a friend and they did a pizza/drinks/game night for the whole bridal party a week before the wedding. I missed it (my grams 75 birthday) but the whole BP got there gifts and had a great time that night. Another wedding I Was a BM with had the party at there house too, with family all bringing in dishes for dinner and we just hung out for the night. I kind of like this as it is more personal. My sister did it at a Chinese buffet in a room, it was nice as well.

Re: Girls getting married at the RH
OH and my sister was getting married by our Pastor, he insisted on a rehersal, so we did it the night before the wedding (right before the RD). So I would check with who is marrying you as well.
