If you are doing it outside than maybe do the sand ceremony, and than have the candle lit next to you table or by the wedding cake table. It would stink if you lit the candle and it blew out. Otherwise maybe you can find one of those cylinderds to put the candle in to try to prevent the wind from blowing it out! HTH!
we are doing sand ceremony...we wouldnt want to try and light it outside and i feel like it looses something not being part f the ceremony
Yes Im gonna try to find a cylinder because I made the candle and really want to use it but, afterwards I want it on the table with my dad's memory candle by our table.

My brother got married early Sept-outside-and they did the unity candle. We hope to get married outside and I think we are doing one too.
We are doing a unity candle and a family candle. Im just going to pray that the wind doesnt blow them out.
