the priest gave me a booklet to fill out so the church knows who's doing what during the ceremony, who are you girls having bring up the host and wine right before communion? and lighting the candles for the bride and groom to light the unity candle?
I was thinking our moms will light the candles but I don't know who is supposed to bring the gifts? I would imagine the dads do that part but FHs dad is not in the picture so we dont know who to choose
Any ideas or suggestions?

Re: Girls getting married in a Catholic Church
Do you guys have any siblings that are not in the wedding party? Maybe a cousin or a close friend? I am not sure. I have to decide all of that stuff too.

maybe you can do a close relative, an aunt or a cousin. i'm not doing a mass but i am having my aunt do a reading, my great aunt participate in some way, and FH will pick a family member to do another reading.

thanks girls, Im going to ask FH today if he wants one of his cousins to bring up the gifts with my dad, maybe this cousin can also walk his mom down the aisle since his brother is the best man and cant do it.
