Re: Girls Getting married in April
the only major thing I'm working on now is finding a hair sytlist. Everything else is booked and/or paid in full.
I'm finalizing the guest list over the next week, and doing all my DIY's over the next 2 weeks.

For those of you who haven't done your florist yet, check with your hall and find out who their house florist is. You maybe able to get a good deal with them.
mine is ribbons and roses florist in commack, and they gave me a fantastic deal because I was getting married in the hall they have a contract with

Re: Girls Getting married in April
for invites, I ordered mine through an etsy dealer, and I'm doing a some DIY touches to it. I received my invites about 4 days after submitting final approval, and I got a bunch of extras like programs, place cards, and table numbers for a steal!!!!
I booked makeup with Andrea from Lola Loves makeup, she is great and so sweet! Invites I have, it's a DIY project, I have an appointment for a florist tomorrow which is my third one so I really just need hair and the million little details...it just still seems so overwhelming :/

Re: Girls Getting married in April
Hmm, the main things I'm hoping to get done in the next few weeks:
- Finding a dress for my MOH/BM! - Hair trial (make-up trial next year in January) - Need to get everyone's addresses and put together the invites - I'd like to send them out by end of January - Need to find my DOJ! - Need to lose weight!!!
After that, I then also still need to finish (before the wedding!):
- DIY Card box - DIY cake topper - DIY place cards - DIY menus - DIY Table numbers - Flower girl dresses - Tux for FH - We need to write our vows and finish our ceremony wording - Finalize flower ideas to bring to florist appointment
I think I'm forgetting something but I can't rememeber!!

How were you able to pay things in full? Was it in your contract or you just paid ahead?

Re: Girls Getting married in April
Working on Hair and makeup (though makeup I might do myself)
Invites are being addressed then paying things and the DIYs (next up is my aisle runner)

I might have asked you this already - but when are you sending yours?
Also, is it pretty easy to do an aisle runner?

No problem date twin I was originally planning on sending in Mid Feb (RSVP 3/19) wanted to make sure I did not have to rush seating.
Sending 1st week of Feb.
Not sure about the runner but here is a great site doesn't look to complicatedDIY Runner

We spoke with all of our vendors and asked which ones we were able to pay off, and our photographer and florist said it wouldn't be an issue. They're reputable vendors on here, so I wasn't too worried
We paid our DJ in half, and he is also a vendor of LIW

Thanks! I think I'm doing the same - end of January, 1st week of February. It's so close!
