Girls getting married in Church

I apologize if this is a dumb question but are you girls inviting your priests? And if so, did you send an invitation or did you just ask them? tia

I will hand deliver my invite at our last meeting. I think it would be awkward asking for his address being that we really don't know him that well

yes we sent an invitation, him and his wife came to the reception, and even said a prayer before we ate.

We did not invite our Greek Priest, but we invited his Uncle who will be the Monsignor also performing at the ceremony, only because it was his uncle.

FH & I both invited our regular priests....they'll be conducting the ceremony as well. We invited them in person, but also sent out an invite.

We are inviting 1 priest and thats because he is my cousin...the other one, although we love him dearly, we will not be inviting him.

We will most likely invite the priest because our family is very close with him. I believe he stopped by my brother's wedding, but didn't stay for a meal or anything. So I assume he'd do the same with me. Not sure about how we will extend the invite, but I'm thinking we'd most likely mail it to the rectory.

Wow, I didnt know you were supposed to invite the priest, I wasn't planning on it. My RH is 45 min away from the church and we really dont know the priest that well. I feel like if we invite him he will feel obligated to attend.
