What hotels are you using? I'm getting married at Bellport CC and all the hotels around there are quoting us like $179ish. I feel like that is way to much to ask people to pay. The cheapest quote ive gotten is $129 from the Mariott in Islandia, which is about 20 min from my RH.
129 from the marriott is a great quote wow! I was thinking of going there even tho my rh is way out east. That hotel is really nice too! 179 does seem like a lot esp after getting a quote for 129.
The Marriott Springhill Suites in Bellport which is brand new and has really modern gorgeous rooms is only about 100 for a regular stay so it must be cheaper for a room block there.
We're using the Hyatt Regency in Hauppauge. 135 a night, and they are giving us their Executive Suite for the same price - its normally 300!

The Marriott Springhill Suites in Bellport which is brand new and has really modern gorgeous rooms is only about 100 for a regular stay so it must be cheaper for a room block there.

Where did you find quotes for 100 there? I looked up a Sat night in June and got 240 for a regular room.
I called up and that was the price they gave me right away on the phone for a September Saturday...I of course booked that immediately!! Who did you speak to maybe you could call back and try an re negotiate with the same person I dealt with.
