Girls getting married in the summer months what kind of favors are u doing?
i was thinking of doing chocolate, but the melting factor worries me.

We're giving out huge beer mugs, screen printed with our monogram. Guests will also get little bags of peanuts and cracker jack along with the placecards. My favors are obviously all very sporty!

I actually just posted something on using chocolate during the summer months..alot of the girls agreed that its ok to use chocolate because the reception area should have AC so you should have no problems with melting chocolate. If anything, freeze them before hand. I will be using chocolate but my favors will be small personalized boxes with cherry filled hersheys kisses..

but what about storing them at ur home before they get to the RH?

My MOH's wedding was in July and did chocolate. It was a huge pain to keep it stored in a cool place prior to the ceremony.
I'd stay away from it if I were you

fh is a big ice cream fanatic so these are ours
Now if that's not a summery favor, I don't know what is. Perfect!!! My friend gave ice cream scoops and her wedding and I forgot to take it home!

thats such a great idea! I love ice cream! Maybe we will do something like that. We were thinking of a picture frame or coasters.

thats what i'm afraid of. i have a feeling it will give one more thing to stress over a month before the wedding and thats not what i want.

thats what i'm afraid of. i have a feeling it will give one more thing to stress over a month before the wedding and thats not what i want.
Yknow..this is how I see it. If they melt they melt..lol..I personally dont care..but thats just me

I think someone had posted about putting chocolate in the freezer before the reception. I think if you have them in a cool place at home, then when you bring them to the RH, ask them to store them inside where there's AC, and you should be fine.
