What are this weekends brides doing differently because of the storm?

I was curious about this as well? I was so glad that big storm missed me by a day, but many of my guests had long delays. do wedding contracts have weather cancellation clauses?

I do not think so ... that is why they have wedding insurance.

I hope for their sake it's not as bad as the news keeps saying. I'm going to my friend's wedding tomorrow, and I just keep thinking how she picked this date 2 years ago and after all this planning, it stinks that the weather is supposed to be so bad! I'm sure all the weddings will be great, no matter what. Hopefully the rain holds off during the time when all the brides need to be outside at any moment!

Often the media makes such a big thing of storms and they arent as bad Im really hoping for this weekends brides this is the case

I don't think media is playing this one up. If you look at the radar, there are a line of hurricanes forming coming off of coast of africa
Its very scary, this week is bad, but Ike is going to be deady, and next after him is Josephine and its heading straight towards northeast
Its too early to tell, and some forcasters are saying that usually the atmosphere breaks up the strorm when it gets that far north, but with climate change, and waters so warm ...
My turn is coming, my obsession has just surpased tv weather reports. I'm glued to noaa.gov
okay I removed the wind speed map it was really scary and freaking me out.

Thanks ladies!! Im praying for good weather...we were planning on taking pics at a park but i guess we would need to take it at the RH. I have one of those huge golf umbrellas to get in and out...there is nothing we can do about it, but enjoy the day!

We were taking them at the arboretum. now we are going to a vinyeard to take indoor pics
