FH's Godmother is our travel agent- we're going to Sandals @ St. Lucia (idr which one- paperwork is at home..lol).

We chose it because she said that out of the Sandals resorts its the nicest location as well as more of the non outrageously expensive (we gave her a limit of $6,000 to play with including airfare round trip).

She has never steered me and FH wrong when it comes to trips and such so we decided it was somewhere we both had not been to and that something all inclusive would be the way to go for us.

I think the total for the two of us comes out to about $5500.00 including airfare round trip or in that ballpark... what was the surprise was that his parents are giving that to us as a wedding gift !

That sounds around what I am paying. The rates are pretty good.

I dont have an exact price since i went through a travel agent and am going to another resort as well in St. Lucia.

But I am going to Sandals Grande St. Lucia for 6 days. And I am sure it is close to 4500$ or more cause the other resort I am only staying at for 3 days and in total spending about $8000 for both resorts all inclusive. But I got butler service at both and a private plunge pool at Ladera (where I am styaing for 3 days) and the jacuzzi at Sandals.

The reason I chose Grande because I heard it was the nicer out of the 3 Sandals on St. Lucia. I also chose it because of the reviews I heard of. We chose St. Lucia because I heard it was a beautiul lush island and FH and I have never been there. Plus you can use all 3 sandals resorts to eat at stay on the beach at or do excursions from...so you kinda get 3 in 1 haha

We just 'booked' our HM at The Grande In St Lucia. We stopped at St Lucia on a cruise and LOVED it. We are doing the test drive your HM for $99 PP. Basically, its a day trip to Jamaica to check out the Sandals. Liberty Travel is having a Sandals promotion on 10/13 (they don't know what the deals will be, but we are holding out to see what it is. TA says it'll probably be a resort credit or disount).

Yes imo I think the rates are well worth it.

I am paying $7000 for 7 nights at Sandals St Lucia Grande.

We are staying in the Honeymoon Oceanfront room - it is the cheapest room with room service which was really important to us! LOL just for breakfast in bed though

I think that its a pretty good price considering we won't have to pay a thing once we get there!

We picked St Lucia bc we wanted someplace hot in January - some of the places like the Bahamas are a little cooler. Our TA also recommended it as the best Sandals for a HM!

Check out tripadvisor - they give you the good and the bad!!

we paid 3500 for 10 days at sandlas halycon in St lucia. (not incuding airfare)
we got a basic room on the smallest of the 3 resorts. We figured why book the large resort and a suite and stay 5 days wehn we can stay 10 in the smaller resort. You stay at 1 and play at 3 anyway! They were having a 50% off promo on sandals.com
