Girls I Need Advice - Kind of Long

I know I'm not on here posting a lot, but whenever I come on you all seem to help eachother so much.
Anyway I have my wedding booked at Giorgio's for September 9th, 2007. I currently am an accountant and hate what I'm doing. There's this NYC Teachers Fellow program where you are able to teach and go for your masters at the same time. I have been looking into this an am applying. The only probelm is that since I will only be starting in June for Training and Full time teaching starting September this interfers with my wedding. If I get accepted to this program I would have to teach that Friday befoe my Wedding all day and be back to teach on Monday. That gives me hardly anytime to do anything, and try to fit a rehersal dinner in there at some point would be crazy. So I began to think about having a destination wedding, which I have thought about in the past. This way I could plan it for sometime before June and be able to have a honeymoon and more than 2 day's off. Do you think this is a crazy idea? I'm just so confused and looking for some opinions.
Thanks so much!

NOT A CRAZY IDEA!!!!!!!!!! I think you should follow your dream and pursue the teaching opportunity.

I don't think it is crazy, though I don't know what the ramifications will be for you in terms of cancelling vendors. IMO if it is feasible, you should do what makes the most sense in terms of starting your new career. A career will last far longer than the one day, or even one week of wedding events!
