look at Madalyn from Maggie Sotero.. I think it runs about $800.. it's stunning and I think its what I want to wear

This is Madalyn...it's nice and 'similar' but it's missing the gorgeous silk ribbon...
Has your friend looked at sample sales or considered having a replica made?
Her choice of Priscilla of Boston P2902 is gorgeous...

Maybe she could go to a dressmaker and have it imitated. I know there are a few girls here who have knocked off designer dresses and they come out amazing!

I would try Marrys I am not sure but I think they have something very close to this and they are very inexpensive

Has she tried looking on ebay to see if anyone is auctioning it? I would also suggest she contact Phyllis at Gownfind. She may be able to get it for a cheaper price.

I saw somethign simialr.. with the stripies in davids bridal.. im sure you can get lace or embroidery added on...

try vows in bostonwebsite . they get designer gowns and sell them for less. It might be worthwhile to call them.
