Girls I need honeymoon help-repost

FI and I are looking for an all-inclusive resort in the carribean. We want something quiet and secluded so NO families and not Sandals. We were thinking Aruba, St Johns, St Barts, St Lucia. But we are def open to other islands.

We want a great room (preferably villa and/or private pool) and good bars/restaurants.

CAN YOU HELP????

Are you a memeber of AAA? My sister booked a trip to Cancun through them and the hotel was an all inclusive, but not a Sandals resort. I don't know the name. There might be some that will give you package deals.

well you have a few choices... if you want to go to dominican republic or riviera maya mexico you could stay at secrets resorts... aventura spa palace in riviera maya is adults only as well...
we stayed at grand lido san souci in ocho rios, jamaica and it is a great hotel, no kids, awesome service, great food

My friend and her husband spent their honeymoon at Grand Lido in Negril, Jamaica. They loved it. For 11 days they NEVER left the resort.

for our one year anniversary in september, we are going to St. Lucia to the Ti kaye resort. We looked at Sandles but realized that its just not the type of vacation that we were lookign for. Plus, they are pretty expensive. Ti Kaye is pretty secluded and has mostly families. We booked the adventure lovers' package (which includes a bottle of wine each night for dinner) and will be getting the meal plan since the restaurant there is supposedly world reknown. I would look into Couples Swept away in Negril Jamaica. Everyone stays in their own bungalows & it is really suppose to be secluded. I stayed at Couples Ochos Rios & we really enjoyed it.

I 2nd Couples Resorts. We're probably going to end up at Couples Negril.

ETA: we initially were going with Couples Swept Away (also in Negril), but then we found out that there's no air conditioning anywhere except your room. and some of the restaurants there require the men to wear long pants and collared shirts. That calls for A/C! lol As my travel agent put it... it's a high end cabin resort but she said it was still her favorite Couple's resort.
