Girls I need your help

Girls I really don't remember the last time I was here but this wedding and school plus work I just don't feel like I will make it .Well here is the problem I need to do 30 hours of service within my field for graduation june2, 2006 My field is movement science which is pretty much physical education for the challenged or elderly. I started looking late and now can't find anything and in order to get thr credit for graduation I have to start doing the service no later then the first week in March. Would your girls know of any rehab centes for childdren or elderly or nursing homes that offer rehab which I can look into

I know Gurwin has a rehab center (inpatient). I am sure you could call any hospital as well for outpatient rehab.

Hospitals or I should say most hospitals require for you to do more then thrity hours which is the problem but thank you

I donated toys to the Center for Developmental Disabilities during Christmas time (and then got to go to their Christmas Party where Santa distributed all the goodies!). I believe they said the ages are 5 to 23, but not one has above a 5th grade learning level . They're located across from Syosset High School in Syosset. Try there. The people seemed really nice... and the children were so lovable! It broke my heart, but it's nice to see such a great place... and they LOVED Santa! Good luck!

I know there's a rehab/nursing home facility in Port Jefferson. But have you tryed googling rehab centers? I would either start calling around or talk to one of your professors. Also, I know St. Charles in Port Jeff also has a large rehab center right in the hospital. They might be able to help you.

Is occupational therapy for children that same as what your looking for?
