I have been going to this hair salon in Babylon. I loved the girl that used to do my hair. I just called to make an appointment and she's no longer working there. I'm so bummed out about it. My question is...Does anyone know about a good hair dresser somewhere in Suffolk County???

This happened to me once, what I did was made an appointment with one of the other girls that I know she was close with, and I asked her what happened to so-and-so, then I started going to that salon
Not familiar with Suffolk.. Good luck!

Don't ask the receptionist! They're not allowed to tell you in most places. Like I said try to go to one of the other girls, and quietly ask them, like just making conversation kind of thing.

I go to Bocu in Commack....I use Sharon for hair and Donnamarie for color....little pricey but they both have been doing my hair for years!!!

my MOH's aunt used to own 'in style' in west islip... they are GREAT there, my MOH works there as the receptionist on the weekend for extra $$.
my mother is a hair dresser too...
Salon De Caro in North babylon (sunset plaza) is good- according to everyone- i personally don't like them and i think they over charge- but hey i get my hair done for free!

I go to Harry at Cactus in Commack (Mayfair shopping center) - he has been cutting my hair since I was three and the only person I trust with my hair! He is also a great colorist as well...

I'm just looking for someone that can do a good job cutting hair. I have had so many bad experiances...i'm afraid to go to just anybody.

I'll actually be there this saturday at 10:30 getting my nails done. and that night my MOH is hosting an arbonne party there (but I have my nephews 5th birthday party)

I know you said suffolk but I acutally travel from Lindenhurst to Bellmore to get my hair done. MY girl Maria is FANTASTIC. I use Hair Effex its on Bedford Ave right down the street from the train station.

You should totally do that! Go get your hair blown out, and ask. (Plus if they dont use scissors you know someone else wont mess it up!)

She used to work at cactus salon in Babylon Village than she was working for her aunt in Lemon Tree on Little great neck road and now they won't tell me where she went. The other girls that work there are horrible.
