girl's names....

Okay, I know I already asked everyone's opinions on Kaylee/Kaylie/Kayleigh, BUT....

What do you all think of

Lindsey (or Lindsay) Grace??

PS we also like Emma and Olivia for a first name.

I like Lindsay Grace, I especially always loved Grace.

Emma is one of my favorites too, I think it's becoming more popular lately like Kaylee.

Olivia is what we were thinking if we have a girl for her middle name.

Seems we have the same taste!!

I love Lindsey Grace! I'm partial though, because I have an adorable 4 year old cousin named Lindsey...

Melissa, I think any combination of those names would be beautiful - HONESTLY!

Funny coincidence...my best friend and matron of honor is about to give birth to her first child any day now, and she' having a little girl.
Guess what they are naming her?

Novemberbride... I DID NOT name my daughter Emma because of friends. I wanted to name her that back in 9/01 when I found out I was prego. I hear the whole Emma/ Friends thing... I know you probably arent saying that cause of me but I get defensive

KP - I'm TOTALLY with you on that one...when I found out I was prego (also in 9/01), DH and I had picked two girls names b/c there were so many we liked. We narrowed our choices to Emma and Isabella. The middle name for either would have been Rae, after my maternal grandma, who is very important to me.

Anyway, BOTH of our girl name choices were mentioned on that friggin' Friends episode, and DH and I were like - they STOLE our ideas!!

So, I KNOW how you feel...even though Novemberbride didn't say it to you personally, I understand the defensiveness. BTW - I still LOVE Emma...it's a beautiful name!

I am sure Novemberbride was not posting in a way to make 'fun' of you at all. It is just that Emma will be the most popular name around. It is a beautiful name, but your daughter will have 8 other Emma's in her class.
I LOVE Lindsay and Grace. And I really like Kaylee too.

kptoys: I am not saying that ANYONE picked their daughter's name because of Friends.All I am saying is that the name became poplular because of that show.How would I even know the name of your daughter? Nobody is picking on anyone.

In no way was my comment insulting.You shouldn't take it that way at all. Obviously a lot of people like the name because its popular. You should see that as a compliment.

Melissa-the truth is once you look at her you will know what name you want! I wanted to call Patrick by his middle name & it was an argument back & forth w/ my FH. Well, he is 100% Patrick!! I knew that as soon as I saw him!
