Girls-Need Vendor advice please

Girls-Need Vendor advice please

How do you tell a vendor that you admire that you have chosen to use another vendor for the wedding?

The particular vendor is great, has even gone above and beyond in the customer service aspect offered to beat any prices, throw in things for free, etc.

The work impressed me, but unfortunately it didn't come close to blowing me away like another vendor's work did.

How would you approach the other vendor about it, without being rude or unappreciative? I feel I owe this vendor the respect of knowing that although I was happy with the service, I am using someone else. Would you call? Drop an email?

Thanks.

I blamed it on my inlaws! I said that they were paying for the particular vendor so I had to go with who they wanted. I said I was so sorry and that if it was us to me I would have chosen them but unfortunatly it wasn't.

I would probably call and tell them the truth and just tell them that you are very sorry.

I am just a very honest person. LOL.
