i know applebees always has good deals on weeknights. Half price appetizers and 2 for 1 on a whole bunch of drinks. Pretty good deal. The closest one is in new hyde park about 4 miles away on jericho tpke.

They just opended up Hollihans (Did not spell that right) and the bar area is huge and usually never has a long wait. Friday's, Chili's and any of those places are probably going to be packed out.
