I'm trying to figure out my invitation wording, and I have a few questions-
1. Are you including a separate card along with the directions to get to RH for the reception?
2. I have a 3 hour gap between the ceremony and CH, so my reception doesn't exactly 'follow', how should I word that?
3. Does anyone else wish they could just send out a mass fb message to invite everyone? This invitation thing is making me crazy!!

Our direction cards has directions to the church and also directions to the RH. Reception wording would be something like: Please join us for a reception beginning at seven o'clock in the evening at Three Village Inn

1. Are you including a separate card along with the directions to get to RH for the reception? We made one directions insert that had directions to the church and then from the church to the RH.
2. I have a 3 hour gap between the ceremony and CH, so my reception doesn't exactly 'follow', how should I word that? We wrote: 'Please join us for a night of dinner and dancing'. We figured something along those lines was the best option since we have the same setup as you almost (about a 3 hr gap).

Yep.
The main invitation is for the ceremony only, then there is a reception card insert which states the time and location of the reception, and the directions card has directions to both. This is what I have seen for every wedding not done at the RH

u cna check my album for my invites. to save some $$ we didnt have a reception card, we printed it on the invite itself. then on one of the inserts in the pocket, we double side printed the directions. one side is for church, other side is RH directions. HTH!
