As you all know I went to Jen from Fairytale today to go get my hair/makeup trial. My Family and Fh loved the hair and makeup. However, Fh and my grandma suggested that I may look better with my hair all the way up vs half up/half down. So I pulled the hair up and tooks some pics. What do you girls think looks better on me? All up or half up half down? Thanks girls

Re: Girls--Please help!
Well...I had the same problem. When I went for my first trial (which was not with Jen) I did a half up/half down style...it was really nice, however, I didn't feel like a bride with it down.
I decided to go for my second trial (this time with Jen from FT) and I went all up...and I LOVED IT! I booked her on the spot...
I just felt a little more like a bride with my hair all up...FH loved it better too!!!
And, yes, I do like that pic of you now with your hair up.

Marcela, You are a beautiful girl.. any way you wear your hair, you'll look gorgeous..
are you wearing a headpiece? tiara?
at first, I wanted it all up with curls cascading down.. and then as time past, the more I realized that I wanted it all up.. it felt soo glamorous to me and zero maintenance throughout the day..

Marcela, to be honest with you I LOVE the way you look in both but I think with your hair all up will look better. Now that is only because you have thin hair, maybe with the extra hair peice your hair will look fuller and it will be different.

All the way up looks very elegant. Half up/ half down looks beautiful and less formal. I like both. Choose which one would look best with the style of your wedding.

I agree - you look beautiful both ways! I think that hair up is a more elegant/sophisticated look and hair half up and down (or all down) is more romantic and carefree. It all depends on what makes you feel the most beautiful (and comfortable).

Hey, first of all you ARE beautiful. and can do it either way. What is the neck line of your dress? ie: a-line??? that can help determinee as well. I think it looks good all up, it shows off your neck and smile and it might stay out of your way if you wear it all up.. But whatever you choose you can't go wrong.. both look beautiful!!

Marcela-I agree you look beautiful with you hair either way! I am having the same issue with my hair(half up or all up) and I personally think that you really need to think about the look/statement you want to make that day. WHen I went to the Wedding March on Madison Ave, I went to a hair seminar they had with Julian Farrell (he does hair for models, etc..)and he said that everything (dress, makeup, hair) should look pulled together(all the elements-dress, makeup, hair should 'work' together). Do you know what I mean? I think that putting your hair all the way up is more formal and sophisticated whereas half up half down is more romantic looking. You look gorgeous either way!! I can't wait to see your wedding day pics!

I think you look great both ways but I like the idea of brides having there hair all up. It seems more formal.

Marcela - just have to say you look so gorgeous again!!
Like a lot of the girls are saying - you have to think of what type of statement you want on your special day -
Look at your tiara and the neckline of your dress and decide that way. A different neckline always changes the way your hair looks up or down. If you have a sstrapless top (i htink your dress is strapless) -put it on and see how your hair looks up and down.
I think I am in the minority - i actually like the way that your hair frames your face when it is down.
Either way - you will look gorgeous!

I think that the two styles look great, but I suggest you try to decide with the style of your gown and veil/tiara if using any. Good luck.

you are gorgeous both ways!!! personally, i vote for the hair all up. your wedding day is going to be a long day and with your hair up, you don't have to worry about it at all.

Re: Girls--Please help!
I like it both ways. I am in agreement with the others that say having it all up seems more 'bridal' but I might have mine 1/2 up and 1/2 down since I have such thick hair. But who knows...I won't have my trial until after Christmas.
Whichever you go with you'll look great!!

You look beautiful both ways. Which one do you like better??
Aren't we a great help to you??
For me I prefer my neck to be covered.

Either way is great but I love all up. Very elegant and hassle free.

I think you look great either way
But if I had to choose... I would say hair up for your wedding.. but that's just my opinion. It's up to you... your day, and however YOU feel comfortable wearing your hair that day. Maybe putting a tiara on would help you decide??

Re: Girls--Please help!
Thanks so much girls!! You're all so sweet
I was thinking of having my hair done all the way up for my friend's wedding in 2 weeks and see how it holds up and how I feel with it. I've always hated my hair all the way up but with the great makeup job that Jen from FT did I think it looks good both ways. I really thought this would be the easy part I guess I should've know that nothing is easy in wedding planning
Thanks again girls, I REALLY appreciate all of your advice!
