GIrls Please Recomend your DJ

Hi Girls,

I do not know any DJs and for my FH and I music is soooooo important. We're the type of people when we go to a wedding we're the first one on the dance floor and last ones off.
I'm looking for a dj who keeps the party moving and everyone dancing BUT without the cheese factor. Some of these guys are a little much for my taste so I appreciate any recomendations

If DJ is super important to you then I'd splurge on Starlight Express. One of our best vendors and well worth the money!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend you at least meet with them!!

We used Bravura and we loved them...we added the live percussion and had a one man steele drum for the cocktail hour, everyone raved about them!

we're using FM Entertainment. i met with them myself and if I didn't want to run it past FH, i would have booked them on the spot. I've heard great things bout them, so i'm excited.

im using fm entertainment! my dad is a dj himself and he was impressed by them and felt they were honesty and def not cheesy at all

We used Feel the Vibe too -- Highly recommend them!

ETA: Great Video. DH and I never went over the percussionist and when I think about it I get pissed off that we forgot to do it.

Bravura--- we saw a few dj's and we just loved them. They are on the pricier side and do not negotiate price much if any. But I think worth it.

We are using Bravura...very professional and i've only heard good things about them..and if you want live music (singer/piano) . PAUL is amazing!!!

We are also using Bravura! I couldn't be happier with their service thus far. Paul is awesome. We're using Cityscapes for the CH and Paul for keyboards and vocals during down times.

Edited to add: They didn't negotiate much, but they DID negotiate, so prices aren't set in stone... but they were the most professional DJs I had met with, and their work is really worth the price IMO.

We are using Paul and an upright bass during cocktail hour...we would have loved to have him during down times at the reception but it wasn't in our budget :( -- actually having Paul at all wasn't really in our budget but we thought he was AMAZING and had to have him at least at the cocktail hour....
