so im bored and i just thought maybe posting a post out there about your favorite vendor would be interesting to see what everyone says and what their favorite so far is!! :)
as of right now during my wedding planning i would have to say my favorite so far is..
#1 - STARLIGHT EXPRESS - the DJ! lovee lovee them and cannot wait to party on my day with them cause they do nothing but an amazing job and they are owesome! :)
#2- LILLETTES - they have been GREAT so far! :)
#3- PEDESTALS FLORIST - so far i am happy with them and VITO who i am working with seems to know his stuff and know just what i want and i think he is going to do a GREAT job! i have a GREAT feeling about him and really like him! :)
okk girls.. so there are my favorite 3 venues so far.. no share yours, cant wait to hear.. i thought this would be interesting! ;)

Good idea
So far I love my videographer, Richard of avvento weddings....he's super helpful, with other things besides the video.....honeymoon ideas, photographers, and he's so sweet and friendly.

I don't have all of them booked yet, but I would say of those I do have booked my favorites so far are Thomas Paul, because he's been excellent with answering all of my questions and calming me down about some things, plus he has great customer service with calling up his clients to say Happy Holidays...and Tessa, because she has excellent communication skills, and obviously loves what she does and it shows in her work.
But I wouldn't pick a vendor that doesn't have favorite potential...otherwise they don't get booked!

oh heyyy we also have DUET! hehe! :) i love love them also and cant wait to get our e-pics done in the spring! super excited for that! :)
honestly, i think so far i am extremely happy and excited about all my venues and i think me and fh have been doing a great job so far with picking the right ones and greatest ones! :) well ill give the credit more to myself since its really me who has choosen to go look at them, lol! :)

My favorite vendors so far would be
1. Amanda Picone (our photographer)-incredible, nice, accomodating and reasonable. She responds quick to email and easy to get in contact with.Very happy with her service so far!
2. Flower Michele (John our florist)- What hasnt' been said about him....Like a big teddy bear! Will work within budget. Tell how it is. Accomodating and wonderful to work with. Help us a lot with the type of flowers we want for our wedding. We love him!

I would have to say Patken...we met w/ our photographer and feel 100% confident --- communication has been great.. ive emailed him and have always gotten quick and thorough responses...

I would have to say my favorite vendors by far are my photographer (Modern Wedding Photography) and my RH (Westbury Manor).

I looove my photographer...he's super helpful and always is giving me opinions and help. He's awesome.
My hair dresser is awesome too..she's super sweet and does whatever I ask. Lol.
Oh, and my florist kicks total butt..haha... Need to call her today. She's soo passionate about everything...all the details...it's great
Lastly, my travel agant, b/c not only did she go high and low to get me a good rate, she also changed the week around for me a zillion times!!
HAHA...sorry I can't narrow it down to one. HAHA

Twelfth Night Photography - Dominic- He is awesome!!! after our engagement shoot he got a feel for the kind of pictures I like, he searched for some places he thought I would like for our wedding pics and called me with all the information! He certainly had my style correct!
Francesca of Dazzling Affairs - She is my DOC but we email each other CONSTANTLY about well just about ANYTHING! she is so helpful!
Also my Banquet Manager at Russo's. She is awesome!!!

AS of right now I have not had any issues with any of my vendors and LOVE them all!!!!!
But I will narrow it down to 3 of my faves:
#1-- MY RH Stewart Manor-- James is fantastic and sooooo accomodating with everything!
#2-- My Band Times Square Orchestra-- they played at my sister's wedding 3 years ago and people who went to her wedding STILL talk about how great they were!
#3--- Lillette's I LOVE Christina she was amazing and we will working together for the design changes on my dress!!

Jacqueline Nicole is my total fave. I would wear her on a charm bracelet all day if I could. I want her to walk down the aisle with me and my dad, that's how much I love her.
Another fave is the lady who is making my dress, Brenda Olivis of Suky in Haverford, PA. Total goddess, thorough, awesome. And had the best bra tip of all time- Wascoal Bras!!
I also love John of the Little Flower Shop in Lindenhurst. I love that he comes to the event himself to make sure everything is perfect. Love him!

So far the only vendor I actually call on occasion with stupid questions is my Travel Agent - Chloe Cipplione... she always returns my calls immediately, that is if I don't get her on the phone and she always has the answer on the spot.
Well for the RH we booked the Royalton - i don't know if they count as a vendor.. but they are helpful when I have a question.
Then the most recent vendor we booked was FM Entertainment.
Florist is Spitz and Peck
Photographer an Videographer is Glenmar Studios
For the most part I haevn't heard from really anyone.. and I haven't come up with any reason to contact most of them.... I suppose this will all change as we get closer to November!
Do you guys have a lot of contact with your vendors? If so, how far in advance are you speaking with them? It seems kinda early in the game to be calling or contacted by the vendor..??
