can you reccomend a place to go snowboarding...that is reasonably priced!!!!

If you are looking for a season pass...Mountain Creek in NJ is cheap and close. If you are looking to go away for a weekend or longer, Mount Snow or Smugglers Notch in VT is good.

I go skiing and usually stick close to home. Catamount is really reasonable during the week and there is nobody there! I love it. I also like Camelback. The Woodstock Inn in Vermont offers great deals too. I'm a beginner so I like these mountains...not sure how advanced you are.

FH likes to go to Hunter Mountain upstate. It is reasonably priced. I take the lessons so i think those rates are comprable with most places.
If you want to go futher I went to Killington in VT. Which we love. And they have deals for the weekend. But of course its more money cause we have to stay at a hotel and food in killington is generally over priced. We try to go and use my friend's time share when we go up there.

We used to go to Sterling Forest in Tuxedo Park for quick day trips. Its not huge, but it has some good runs. It's got a terrain park for snowboarders too, but I've never hit it up since I ski and don't have a death wish

shawnee is ok to go to if your not too advanced i get boarded there but it's decent for both skiibg and snowboarding. if you want a awesome place try stowe in vermont that place is huge and amazing. even i have a hard time on their double black diamonds

FH's family has a house by Gore Mountain which is at exit 23 on the Northway above Albany. It's a hike but the terrain is awesome!!

Moiuntain creek is affordable but my favorite place was Bellvedere mountain upstate...awesome! GOt knocked out but it was sooo worth it

I go snowboarding and usually try to get a season pass at Mount Snow. I have to say it is even better now that there is a new company that owns it. THey make an incredible amount of snow now.
If you want to make a trip out west I suggest Tahoe....we went last March and it wasnt that much $$$.
