What happens when you go back for your follow up visit? What exactly do they do to you? DO you have an internal exam or do they just feel around on top of your stomach. Thanks....i always like to mentally prepare myself before a docotrs visit....especially to the gyno.

First of all I want to tell you how truly sorry I am. For my D and C, he did an internal exam to asess how I was healing; howver, I have a friend whose doctor didn't do an internal. I would prepare myself for either.

Me too- It really just was like a regular checkup without the pap smear.
