I think it was 4 hrs we played games, then ate, then gifts. I think my DH was there around a half h - 20 min to the end...

It was like 4 hours we played games during it so no one got bored..he came with like 30 mins left but only because I forgot to tell him to come sooner and he was stuck at the store super bowl sunday

4 hours.... played games more in the beginning FH stopped by 30 min. after it started to bring some flowers and returned again 30 minutes before it ended.
I've seen other FHs drop off the bride to be and hang around for an hour then return the last 30 min. It's up to your FH and the hosts... what they have planned.

the shower was about 4 hrs... we didn't play any games (nor did i want to but that's just a personal preference)... ate first, then gifts, then dessert, then more gifts.
FH was working in boston so he didn't show... but dad did!! lol. FH came in that night.

I think mine was around 4 hours.
They played a few games. I know they played one before I arrived, one while I was getting changed, bridal bingo while I was opening presents, and then a 'newlyweds' game after I opened presents.
FH came when there was about a half hour left. He basically made his rounds and then everyone started leaving.

Thanks for responses! Wow 4 hours seems so long but I guess its right!
FH's tee time is not early enough for him to come at end so he may have to come with me at the beginning...SCREW GOLFING!

I think it was 4 hours also. We ate and then opened gifts. Games were played throughout since most of them were in your seat games. The only one we had to get up for was the TP dress and that was between eating and gift opening.
ETA: FH brought me over there, came in, hung out, went home for a bit then he came back as it was ending to help with the gifts and take some pics.

mine was 4 hours...
game first, then we ate, then I opened gifts. The guests played bridal bingo while I opened. Then we had cake and coffee. Then people started to leave
FH came about 20 minutes before it ended but a lot of people had left already. I got through my gifts quickly thanks to my awesome, well oil-machined BP.

1-5, no games, everything was wrapped in clear or in baskets with celophane... i got there at 1:20, we ate almost immediately...
Shaun was in and out all day because of the scene his mom was making... and my niece wanted him to stay... (shes two, she doesnt know any better) lol

630-930, it was not a surprise so they didn't make it longer since i was there at 6pm to greet people. FH came at like 9pm! we did a game, I had tons of gifts so they had me open some before dinner, ate, a game, more gifts and then it was over...went super fast cause the gifts too so much time!

I think mine was about 3 1/2 hours. The guests got there at 12:30, I got there at 1 with DH, he stayed 10 min, then we ate brunch, then played game, then opened presents.
