i'm seriously considering planning it myself, or should i just wait and see if my bp is planning something? i 100% know they're not... fh is horrible at keeping surprises and mom and sister have reassured me that noone has contacted them (bp)

I'm kind of helping with mine I guess. It's at my house so it's kind of hard to keep that a surprise. Granted now that I'm 'kind of helping' I want to choose everything hahahaha....

Hahah I started helping/wanting to know everything, but now I dont want to know ANYTHING! Because I am just like you, I need to choose EVERYTHING! Control freak I guess.

i would wait a lil longer and see if they mention anything about a shower... i didnt plan my own shower, but i helped my mom a little if she needed anything. she doesnt drive so i drove her around to a few places, helped decorate the place, and also wrap the favors... that was the extent of me helping for my shower....

i planned it cuz my bp wasnt involved at all. aside from my brothers wife.. no1 asked how i was doing or if i needed help with anything throughout the entire process... so obviously they didnt want to do anything for me.
thank god for Haroula and Dianna. without those 2.. i wouldve gone insane

Me too. I helped pick date, time, theme, invites, food. Now the rest I want to be planned by mom and moh.

i got the same problem.... how did they react when they found out you planned it? did u talk to them abt it first?

no. sil actually didnt speak to me for a few months cuz supposedly i told her that i would have a gift for her at MY SHOWER and since she didnt get a gift she got mad and didnt speak to me for months.
