Yes - they give you 2 to start with so you can choose which best matches your skin. If the lighter one works for you right now, the darker one may work for you when you have a tan. Love the stuff. They are both foundations - neither are concealer. However, I found, if you have a blemish, take your finger and rub just a little over the blemish after you put your foundation on. Works well. There is a Bare Escentuals store in Roosevelt Field. If you live close, you may want to go. They'll do your makeup while you're there so you can get a good idea of what you're buying.
I started using it about 2 weeks ago and I LOVE IT!!!!! You don't have that foundation 'mask' that you normally get with liquid and no foundation line. It stays on all day too. I will be honest though, for night affairs such as an anniversary party im going to saturday night, i'm wearing liquid because i think it photographs a little bit better. I would definitely use bare minerals on a daily basis but not for my wedding.
Ahhh, I love this stuff!!! I get so many compliments on my skin when I wear it. They give you two, not sure why. I only use one. The woman in Sephora told me to use the medium beige one on my skin, I am keeping the medium for when I run out of medium beige. They are so similar in color.
I had used them. The darker is your 'foundation' and the lighter is your 'concealer'. It seemed to take a lot to cover though. I personally didn't like what it did for my skin. I would go with professional makeup for your wedding though. Bare minerals seemed more for every day than for evenings or special occasions....JMO

what did it do to your skin? i never had luck wit foundation it would always make me break out when i was younger so i never use it anymore i just use mac bronzer
I just bought the kit as well and I think it is just OK. I will use it for work, but for big events I will use liquid.

I use all the time. I love the stuff. I was going to use regular makeup for my wedding. I went for two trials and both made me break out.
Just a suggestion. If you use a light tinted makeup under the bare minerals it gives it a different look for photos.

Each person is different. Try different things and you will know.
I tried airbrushing and didn't like it at all. It felt heavy to me. JMO.

Same thing happened with me. I HATED it on me
It just made my pores more apparent. I thought it was suposed to give this 'flawless coverage', but it just made me look like I had on the wrong color powder. My friend uses it too, and it just looks like she has nothing on. I guess I just don't get the hype. I prefer a light tinted moisturizer....
