NYPD Emerald Society... DH got them for our wedding @ the Watermill. We were upstairs. The wedding downstairs hears them play and asked that they play for them the same night.
I used Bagpiper FDNY also. His name is Brian and he was great. He charged me $250.

How long did you ask him to play for? I only wanted him to play at certain times...to be honest, I was a little surprised by the quote being that I didn't want him to play for more than a half hour.

I didnt give him a time just the date and said only at the church.. he told me he plays as I arrive and when everyone is exiting the church. he send me that quote this morning

Interesting - he told me the same thing...at most, he'd play for a half hour by my calculations. Maybe he charges by the distance he has to travel?? He gave me that quote over a month ago.

eh is only playing at my church and not the reception,s o maybe thats why. I also booked him a long time ago so his rates probably went up

I only inquired about the ceremony...and that was over a month ago. That's a pretty big jump in price, but definitely possible. And it was Connely, not Donnly that I corresponded with.
