I haven't quite figured out what exactly what we're using for our introductions, but I probably was going to try finding ONE song to introduce everyone to--not 3 different songs for BP, Parents and us. Sorry I can't give a specific idea of what song yet.

Only DH and I were introduced and we had a song from the Blow soundtrack, Black Betty, I think its called. I love that song, it gets me pumped whenever I hear it

Our parents came in to 'We Are Family,' then our bridal party came in to a music only (no lyrics) version of Creed's 'One,' then me and DH came in to U2's 'Beautiful Day'

My band is awesome and they play as if you were listeing to the actual artist..
We are walking into 'CHILDREN' by Robert Miles
It is an upbeat instrumental song..gets the crowd going everytime...

I don't think it's different at all. Pick the songs you want to be played. A band can switch gears easily too!

We are more than likely NOT introducing the bridal party - just not my thing but FH may insist on it. Who knows with him, he has his moments. However, WE are going to walk into the Syracuse University Fight Song because he and all of his friends played in the marching band there. I went to school there too so it has a'goofy' meaning for us and it is insanely upbeat! The only thing is that we have to get the sheet music and a copy of it downloaded and burned to a disk so the band can hear it. It isn't that complicated musically - shouldn't be a problem.

I have been racking my brain about this as well. Bands just seem to be different for this for some reason.

we are just having us introduced - so we might just have them play a prelude to our first dance song
but maybe i want something more upbeat
it definetly seems different to me - my cousin entered to islander starting music- not replacable bya band
