My friends and I will all be turning 40 in 2007 and we are starting to plan our '40 something get-a-way'. When there are 7 girls, you have to plan early because it will take forever! We are all frineds from Grade School.
Does anyone have any suggestions on a place to go? We are pretty sure a beach and tropical drinks need to be included!

Montauk is great for a local beach weekend Newport or Block Island, RI Cape Cod Maryland is supossed to have some nice beaches.

Great ideas but, we all grew up in Montauk. Two of us still live here, two now live in Maryland, two in Florida and one in Mass.
We are thinking about the Bahamas, but don't know much about it.

I would recommend Dominican Republic or Mexico, they wont be too expensive, have great beaches and if you buy all inclusive you can drink all you want
