Girls, what are you doing about the stamp increase?
We're hopefully mailing out our invitations this week... Are the new stamps out yet? I looked on the usps website and all I see is ugliness!
Can anyone help? Are there new $.41 stamps out that don't have the American flag on them?

I thought I read somewhere that the new stamps should be available at the post office by now...but don't quote me on that! Might as well take a trip there and find out, I guess!

ignoring it and putting the regular weddings stamps on outer and inner envelopes. i figure that responsible people will mail it back before 5/15 and those who dont wouldve probably gottena phone call anyway....

The price hike doesn't happen until May 15th, so you'll be fine with the old ones, at least on your outer envelope. I'm not too sure what you should do for the response cards.
We sent ours out last week with the old stamps...

We sent them out with old stamps on the outer envelopes and the rsvp with 39 cent stamps with horridly ugly 2 cent ones as well.... grrr to the post office

The only stamps that are out at this time that are 41 cents..is the american flag and the liberty bell ...the 2007 wedding stamps havent come out yet.
This is what I did...I went to weigh my invite the other day and the worker told me that it will pass with a first class stamp (39 or 41 cent)...I am going to be sending out my invites within the next few weeks, so its before the increase in May..therefore, I can still use the 39 cent stamp to mail out my invites..but for the RSVP envelope I am using a 39 cent stamp and a 2 cent stamp being that my RSVP is June 1st. As for which stamp I am using, I will be using the 2006 39 cent wedding stamp for my invites and RSVP envelope...

Another option is to go with PhotoStamps.com or the custom stamps from Zazzle.com, there's a whole bunch of designs from TheKnot.com

Does anyone know if the postcard stamp is out yet? I need postcard postage for my response cards....I can wait on the .58 stamp, thank goodness. I won't need that til end of May. But I'd love the postcard stamps so I can finally pack away these darn invites!
