Girls, what's one ( or more ) household chores, you just can't stand?

I hate ironing, its the one thing that gets me annoyed to do. Some stuff aren't that bad to iron but i hate ironing button down shirts.

I use the dishwasher so i dont mind dishes.

Me too!!! FH does dishes and I do laundry because they both equally s uck!

cleaning the bathroom and ironing!! oh and dishes!! ugh!

Putting laundry away... but I do enjoy vacuuming. I love to see the marks on the carpet. And then i try to not walk on the carpet for awhile

Hmm I would say ironing but since I just don't do it anymore I guess it doesn't apply.. I am so bad at ironing I actually iron wrinkles INTO my clothes (no lie!!) so we bought a steamer and I like that much better!

i have a steamer, i need to use it more often. Problem is that ironing comes up at the worst time, like we're in a hurry to leave and dh remembers he needs a shirt ironed. Or I decide to wear something last minute and of course it has to be wrinkled. So i just iron it quickly. I keep saying i am gonna use the steamer more. Its the big one so i can just hang the clothes on it, this would be the best if i can remember lol

In instances like that I just wear the wrinkled clothes! I know that is terrible but I am THAT bad at ironing! It doesn't help that I burned myself really bad with an iron when I was 18 and the scar just left me in the last year or so.. Since then I am verrry cautious around irons!

Funny enough... I burned myself on the steamer two months ago.. I still have 3 burn lines on my thigh.. I think I am just meant to be wrinkled!

lol actually i shouldn't laugh sorry you got burned. Yeah the steamer you have to be careful with, last time i got too close bc i was doing it in a hurry and alot of steam comes out and can burn you

It's ok.. It was sooooo not funny at the time but looking back BOTH times were totally my fault! I was under a lot of emotional stress at the time of the steaming incident (getting ready for a funeral) and I noticed I had some lint on the steamer head.. My dumb a$$ thought it would be wise to rub the steamer head up against my pj pants to wipe the lint off and the rest is history!

I told FH I have 3 requirements when we buy a house

1. a dishwasher bc i hate doing them!

2. a washer/dryer. bc i am too little to be lugging things to the laundrymat

3. a garage, so i never have to clean off the car in the snow.

a girl can dream right?

First thing i do when i buy a home is installing a dishwasher if its not already there.
