yep, we did. We've lived together for 5 years and have a lot of stuff, but we definitely upgraded some things and also added stuff that we never bought ourselves that we really wanted. We got new dishes, pots and pans and big things like that. HTH!

still having one. when we moved in together a year ago i decided to buy all disposable stuff pretty much (yeah that 50 buck pot set is barely lasting the year) and only a set of 4 dishes and stuff knowing that we would be registering.
the couple of nice things we invested in we obviously didn't register for.

This! We definitely need some upgrades! Plus fine china and crystal we couldn't get for ourselves before.

i dont live with fh, but i live on my own and have a lot of things
I registered for the more fun things, like china, frames, glassware etc.

Still having one - getting upgrades - we've been living together for a long time - but in new place for 2 years - my mom was insistent that we buy junk so we can register for good stuff - way before we were engaged! Go MOM!!!!

I've lived with FH practically since we met eachother...We just recently bought an apartment and bought all new things, so I didn't register for much, just a few things in case anyone wanted to get a gift for us. It's also not something that my immidiate family normally does (bridal showers) so I always knew I wouldn't have one.

we have been living together for almost a year and a half and am having one.
We def. didn't buy ourselves all the things we need and we will upgrade other things.

Having a shower is really up to my BP ... I think they will be throwing me a shower. FH and I live together, and we did still register, but not for much.
