Girls who already mailed their invitations...

did you stuff them alone or did you have people help you? I feel like it's alot of work to do alone but I'm scared that if there's too many people involved, it will get all messed up! what did you do???

ETA - also, i got the new purple 'wedding' stamps at the post office. do you think it matters that they don't match my invites? my invites are beige and black.

I stuffed mine alone...It Took me for ever, I wish I would of had a helping hand.

I always say that if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself! So, a little at a time, I stuffed them by myself.

The purple stamps don't match my colors either, but they worked fine anyway. I/m still mad at the USPS for not making them some neutral color!

Thank god for my mom - we did most of the work. FH helped do the wax stamp - it was his idea after all.

I had a minor melt down before the stuffing began since I was convinced it was a one woman job (and mainly b/c I'm a perfectionist). Since we numbered our RSVP envelopes, my mom worked from the back of the alphabet, and I went forward. FH stamped all envelopes once they were sealed, and he also helped put the tissue on top of the invite for us. It worked perfectly, and they were both a huge help.

We also stamped and numbered our RSVP envelopes before the stuffing began - that also helped.

Mailing tomorrow had to reopen everyuone of them and then had to fix the reception card and then reseal readdress everything THANK GOD I ordered 75 seals..

We had an assemblyline of 6 people...lol. It was a bit of sensory overload but it was fast and efficient. Thank G-d for family

I did it all myself. I didn't trust most people to help. My FH offered to help and I trust him to do a good job, but somethings are easier to do yourself.

We had an assembly line at FH's parents. I did a few models and we all did something. They turned out wonderful and they were such a big help. Take the help, it comes in handy!

We're doing it tonight, just FH and I. One BM offered to help, but I think it might get confusing with 3 people.

We had help from my mom and a BM and it was great b/c we had a little assembly line going. We had pocketfold invites so we needed to get the inserts in order and put them in the pockets, put stamps on both envelopes, tie the bow around each one and put them in the envelopes. We had 150 invites so we needed the help!

I assembled them myself and stuffed them myslef. I have five BM....and they always had something else to do (work, school, etc). Only two helped at one time. I was hurt by this. Anyway....I have to give my FH credit, he put stamps on them.

It took a lot of time....I am still sending more out.
