Thanks! : ) Yea, they're technically in the 'Announcement' category on Vistaprint, but really you can make the announcement say anything you want!!.....including a menu

I just went on Google first, and typed in VisaPrint.com coupons and a whole bunch came up so I got a discount Im glad I found it because I was ready to shoot the printer by the time I was done trying to make them myself : (

Cant wait until I try to do the Voltive Candle Placecards.....Ill be a crazy woman by the end of that

Ohhh ahahaa. The candle placecards im DIY'ing

I bought little glass tuquoise voltive candles. Then I went to Micheals and bought Voltive Candle Holder labels where I'll print out on them the name and table number of each person and then just stick it on each candle.

I just thought this would be so pretty looking on the placecard table instead of your traditional placecards..ya know...all lite up...

What I did was, I picked an 'announcement'
design, then filled in all the lines with the Menu info (its very easy, you can pick any color font ,style of writing, etc) and wa-laaaa....I had my own personal menu to order. It was like 30 bucks for 100. I picked the 4 x 8 size. It actually came out cute, lemme see if I can post a picture

Wow, it looks like we have similar tastes! I'm almost doing the same thing

here is mine if it helps

I am making mine, sorta scrapbook-style. I am printing the menu on cream cardstock, cutting it out and matting it onto a dark choc. piece of cardstock that is a bit bigger so that there is a border. Then I am using a leaf hole punch to make a maple leaf cut out in orange cardstock and putting that at the top. Our names will be on either side and the date will be in the middle.

Here's a sample:

I am changing a few things ... we have the choice of salad and app or a combo plate, and I think I have decided to do the combo to make more time for partying. And I may see if I can NOT get the dessert and just do cake to also save time - if they will give me something in return for not doing the dessert, that is.

ETA:

I will include it all! I think it would look incomplete without the other stuff, and guests might think they are only getting the entree....plus seeing what appetizer/salad is like might influence their entree choice
