for the ladies doing slipper baskets or who did baskets, how did you know how many to order?
im thinking of doing something similar but with pashminas instead for our outdoor cocktail hour because its going to be at 8pm in october (i may scrap the idea if its too much $$, we're only gonna be outside for an hour anyway)
should i just count up how many women were inviting and order that many?
p.s. im gonna try and attach a pic of my inspiration for this idea
we had a flip flop basket ... ordered enough for about half the guests (so one for every female, give or take) .... it worked out well and everyone loved them!

We are doing a flip flop basket- I ordered enough for 1/2 the women invited-not everyone will take one.
Pashmina's are a very cute idea. i think a lot of guests will anticipate being chilly and bring their own, so you can probably use the same math/logic that i did

That's a really cute idea!
I did a mix of flip flips and Chinese slippers, so that everyone has an option. However, whenever I've seen slipper baskets...not everyone takes them at all. So I ordered about 65 for about 125 women. (So about half)

same as above...figure 1/2 of your guests are women, about 1/2 will take the slippers
