-Which hotel are you getting ready at? -What type of room did you get to accommodate you and your girls? -Are you staying there the night before and just checking out late after you are done getting ready OR are you staying there for your wedding night as well? -OR... are you only staying there the night of your wedding and checking in super early to get ready there?.
I am sooo confused as to what to do. I definitely want to get ready in a hotel- would prefer it to be the same for both nights but I don't see this happening. Any advice and experiences are greatly appreciated!

Re: Girls who are getting ready at a hotel...
i'm currently trying to work out the logistics of this so i'm right there with ya!! I keep going back and forth...i'll have more clarity when we settle on a hotel...
Ideally though, my plan is to stay there the night before. Some of my girls will hopefully stay too or if not, they will join me later after hair and makeup if they choose to use someone different.
Our RH provides us with a bride and groom suite on the grounds of our RH so that's where we'll probably stay our wedding night.

Re: Girls who are getting ready at a hotel...
I am staying at the Hyatt in Hauppauge. Me and a couple of my girls are staying their the night before my wedding. We will probably check in early and spend the day relaxing in the room or at the pool. I think my FH and a couple of groomsmen might be staying there too the night before. I got a suite so that all my girls can get their hair and make up done in one place. It has a big bed room with a bathroom that also has a separate counter and mirror area and then it has a fairly good sized living room. So I figure hair in one room and make up in the other and then theres still seating for people to hang out and snack or relax while they wait for their turn. Then me and FH are staying in the same suite the wedding night and we have a block so that any of the bridal party and OOT's can stay too. Then we are getting late check out the day after the wedding. HTH!

Re: Girls who are getting ready at a hotel...
I'm staying at Islandia Marriott the night before and we're gonna stay there the night of as well. we're booking the bridal suite for both nights so I'll have enough room for me and the girls to get ready in the morning. I'm not sure yet but I think a few of my girls will either be staying with me or getting their own rooms for the night before. I really don't have an option since we live in western Nassau our our RD, RH and hopefully ceremony are all mid Suffolk, south shore and north shore. I don't want to be driving all over LI the night before and the morning of, We also booked our hotel block there as well which is essentially for our friends and the after party since we have few OOT guests. I don't mind being in the same hotel because A) I love my friends B) we'll have plenty of alone time on the HM and 3) the hotel assured me that our room would be a few floors above everyone else's

I was confused too! I decided that the bridal suite would have to work for us. I blocked rooms and the BS at the Courtyard Marriott on 110. The BS has two rooms- one is more of a sitting area w a couch, chair, table, tv and kitchen area, and the other room is the king bed and furniture/chairs/bathroom.
I booked it for the night before the wedding, and the night of the wedding. I needed to be in there the morning of the wedding with my girls, the hair and makeup professionals, and my Photographer. Too many people for a standard room, for sure. I was unable to check in early on the wedding day (like 7-8am) since check-in is 3pm or so. Am I going to sleep there the night before the wedding? I dont even know. I may stay at my apartment and just get to the room early the day of the wedding... or maybe I will sleep there. I just know I am a light sleeper and NEED a few good hours that night.
To me, it was worth the money and peace of mind to get the 2 nights. It is an expense but there really is no other option for me.
HTH!!

~I'm staying at hotel Indigo ~The hotel does not have suites since it's a boutique hotel but they do have this hair and makeup room with amazing mirrors, lights, etc so I booked that. ~I'm staying there the night before and the night of the wedding

Re: Girls who are getting ready at a hotel...
I haven't booked a hotel yet (that's next) but I know we'll be staying there the night before the wedding and the night of the wedding.
I will get ready at the hotel, so I'll be booking a suite or a large room so it can fit everyone comfortably.
FH and I will stay in the same hotel as all our guests but I know I want our room to be far away from everyone else! (esp FMIL )

Re: Girls who are getting ready at a hotel...
I'm getting ready at the Huntington Hilton in the Presidential Suite.. It has two bedrooms, a large seating area and a dining room table so we have enough room to spread out for hair and makeup. I thought that their regular suite was too small since I have 6 girls plus my mom that day.
I'm staying there the night before with my sis and the girls are staying in their own rooms or meeting us there early the next morning. We are going to get some food and drinks and have them spread out for us to eat as we want throughout the day.
We are also staying in the room the night after the wedding so we don't have to worry about moving and things like that on the day of. We will have enough to worry about that day!!

Which hotel are you getting ready at? I am staying at Hampton Garden Inn
-What type of room did you get to accommodate you and your girls? I got a suite with two queen beds and a sofa with a bed.
-Are you staying there the night before and just checking out late after you are done getting ready OR are you staying there for your wedding night as well? I am staying the night before. The BP will have to get their stuff out before we check out. I am staying there for the wedding night but in a different suite with a king sized bed. My luggage is going to stay in the office until the room is ready.

I stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn which is right off Old Country Road in Plainview. DH and I stayed the night before and the girls joined me the next morning - We saw each other before the ceremony for pics.
The Residence Inn is an all suite hotel. I think we paid $139 per night.
Feel free to FM me if you have any questions.
They were very accommodating!!!!!!!

Re: Girls who are getting ready at a hotel...
Were staying at fox hollow the night before, and the night of the wedding. The night before I'm staying with my girls and hell stay with his friends and then the night of the wedding we have the bridal suite. I want to be able to relax the whole day before the wedding. I don't want to deal with the stress of sitting in traffic and all.
