Girls who are having flower girls and/or ring bearers....

Will they be walking into the reception to the same song as your bridal party?

I feel bad b/c we chose to have Enter Sandman by Metallica for the bridal party and I don't know if this is an appropriate song for children to walk into the reception.

Any suggestions?

I think you could have a lighter song playing for the flower girls and ring bearer…I’ve been at weddings where it has taken a LONG time for those lil ones to make it down the aisle, lol.

I have a couple of albums of instrumental versions of Radiohead, so I was thinking about that or “Once Upon a Time” by Air OR the Hawaiian version of ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow”

I would really think about listening to Once Upon a Time by Air too tough, if you’ve never heard it before. I was just thinking about it and it actually explicitly says ‘little boy’ and ‘little girl’ which I like because I’m strange like that, lol.

The only thing I am worried about with Somewhere Over the Rainbow is my FG is 7 years old and my ring bearer is 5. I am wondering if they are too old for this song. I know my FG likes dance music. Ahh, who knows. I will try to get the song you were just talking about.

Yes, our FG walked in with my parents and our jrBM walked in with DH's aunt and uncle to the same song our BP walked into. It was I'll Be There For You by The Rembrandts, very light. If it really bothers you to have them walk into Metallica then choose a different song for them, it's your wedding so you can do it how you want!!

ETS: If you want it to be another Rock song how about Sweet Child of Mine by Guns N' Roses.

Our FG/RB will walk in to a childrens music or a song from a childrens movie. Both of them like the theme from Lion King. Maybe, we'll play that for when they walk it...
