How many readings are u having?

We had 2 readings (1 old testament, 1 new testament), the gospel, and the prayer of the faithful.

so its something really i will decide? i thought the church would tell me what i have to do..

We had three readings - old testatment, new testament, and the prayer of the faithful (which I wrote).

The responsorial psalm was sung by the organist and the gospel was read by the priest.

They will. The person who posted about the poem probably didn't get married in a church, or at least not a catholic one. For a catholic ceremony, you get 2 readings, gospel (read by the deacon or priest), prayer of the faithful. So you can have 3 readers, and you can write the prayer of the faithful yourself!
