Girls who assembled their own pocketfolds...

What kind of glue did you use? Is it a special type so it doesn't bump up underneath the paper, or that kind of adhesive tape?

Also, if you wouldn't say that spatial relations are your forte, would you recommend attempting to assemble them yourself? Like, I can't imagine the gluing of the main invite would be difficult, but I can be a bit spastic and wouldn't even know how to assemble the ribbon band with the monogram card around the outside.

I havent done them yet... but I think all it takes is patience and not being afraid to try. I think you can totally do it. I haven't looked into the glue yet but I know there are a number of glue tape like things available... I will let you know when I start mine.

I used glue dots to secure the ends of the ribbon. Then I used double sided tape for the light weight text paper and glue strips for the cardstock border.
It's not hard at all. I suggest you do a mock up first then you'll have a better idea.

Tessa definitely uses the double sided tape. I would use that. Don't use glue.

I used glue dots as well and they worked out great for me. Make sure you get the box that says craft and not memory book because i think the craft ones stick better.

I am using a type glue dots as well. They come in different sizes and I found it as long rectangular lines. I felt more secure with more 'glue' surface area. They are usually in the scrapbooking section at michaels

there are glue dots. If you have metallic or coated stocks I found this the only way to work unless you have the patience to use rubber cement which takes forever to dry on coated stocks.

If you have basic paper then use the rubber cement this way you have time to correct your mistake before it dries.
