girls who blocked rooms at Uniondale Marriot or Hilton Garden Inn!!

What's the deal with your room block? What are the guidelines, etc.

I want to book 10 additional rooms as a back-up.. but I already have a room block at the Wingate..

I blocked rooms a the Uniondale Marriott and they were great to work with. I just called the sales dept and they faxed me a contract to set everything up. As long as you only block 10 rooms you don't have to put a deposit down. They were cheaper than the Hilton Garden Inn and had better amenities, like a bar, restaurant and pool.
