Girls who did / are doing wine favors

Did you get good discounts from any of the vineyards on LI or did you just go to a liquor store?

I kind of wanted to hit up Jamesport and see if they could do anything, but just wondering what all you ladies did.

Pindar is pretty cheap . . and will discount 15% on 12 or more bottles.

We just went to a liquor store. Some offer you 10-15% off if you buy from cases.

I just went to the Duckwalk website. . .if you get 24 bottles, they give you a 20% discount.

it's called crane lake. they also had Lost Vineyards, which was 2.99, but crane lake is a better wine. It's pretty good. I love Pindar and all those but didn't really want to spend more than $5 a bottle

Re: Girls who did / are doing wine favors

Look up a store called Bottle Bargains and Bottles & Cases - On 25a - Northport I believe. Also, another one of the girls posted that they bought trader Joes wine for $3 per bottle on sale as favors not too long ago.

Re: Girls who did / are doing wine favors

Check out Westbury Wines (I think that is what they are called) on Old Country Rd right by the Costco. I think they have good prices. And, another liquor store on Old Country, near the Bagel Boss (in the Country Glen Center), does 15% off if you buy a case. If you get a case of something that's normally 4.99 a bottle, that's a good deal, no?

I'd go with the Lost Vineyards 2.99 bottles though if I were you!

I also went and highly recommend going to Cappy's - they are so great and helpful!
We paid about $3.75 per bottle as well (full size).

We got Crane Lake Cabornet- it's so good!
DH was so happy we had a few bottles left over from the wedding.
