girls who did chocolate favors?

I want to do chocolate truffles for favors - where have other brides gotten chocolate favors from? What were the prices?

It's not truffles, but I'm thinking of doing Perugina Baci and Hershey's kisses together in some kind of box or bag. I think it's cute that it's like two different kinds of kisses (Baci means kisses in Italian).

Based on your wedding date if you order by mail you will have to pay for overnight shipping and for coolers. Try looking at local candy stores to avoid that.

I got mine from Ghirardelli.com but I don't remember how much they were.

Actually, I think they were planning to phase out their truffle favors shortly after I ordered.

Sorry....this was so not helpful!!

You can try lindt, godiva or hershey. Or you can go to a chocolate store and get some custom made. Sorry I cant help you with the prices.

ETP - Also try Dylans candy bar in roosevelt field. They have wedding themed candy and chocolate.

My sister went to a chocolate store and had a chocolate basket made with different type of truffles, and solid chocolate pieces in the basket it was all wrapped up in clear celephone.

So she had the actual basket made of choclate and it was filled with all different kinds of stuff.
I think she said it cost about $5 each.

I used a company in Pennsylvania, Gabe's Nut and Candy, and they were fantastic. Awesome price, service and product. Feel free to email me at [email protected] if you would like more info.

Re: girls who did chocolate favors?

you should check out schakolad (516) 2482411

the Man there is extremely nice and helpful.

their stuff is fresh and really really good.

they do graphics on their chocolate.

i assure you everything tastes TOO good....and 1/2 the price of Godiva.

They are on Jericho Turnpike a few block west of Jericho Terrace I believe.

We are doing truffles for our engagement party and think they are great!

I'll let you know how they do...like i said DEAL with the guy there.

This is what we did. I think we must have gotten our's before the prices went up though.

Everyone seemed to really like them. None were left behind

Neuhaus. 2 chocolates (you can pick the two) in a box with ribbon for about $4.50 each. They delivered for free in NYC, not sure how it would work outside of the city though. If not for them, I would probably have gone for Godiva.

Godiva is coming out with the most adorable little chocolate wedding cakes . It should be coming out this April, and it is all gift boxed with ribbon. Very cute, but a little pricey. But check it out on the website. There should be a picture of it. Good luck!

I didn't see it on their website. . They'll probably cost 16 bucks each. lol. They know brides will pay anything for unique favors!

Any other suggestions on where we can see it?Thanks!

Schokolad in Mineola (I think that is the correct spelling)...price depends on the number of truffles you want.
They have a website too! The prices are very reasonable - all under $5.
